You can reach Pisa International Airport from the city center very easily and quickly. You can use the shuttle services or take bus to get to the airport located one kilometer away from Pisa. If you do not prefer public transport you can take a taxi. Some accommodation centers also offer airport shuttle service to their guests. It is also possible to reach the airport with this vehicle if you have rented a car during your travels.

Bus

You can reach the airport by taking buses from the city center departing every 10 minutes. You can get your ticket from the buffet or from the machines at the bus stop. One way ticket price is 1.20 Euro.

Taxi

You can easily find a taxi in the city center of Pisa or you can ask your hotel to call a taxi for you. There is also a taxi stop right in front of the main train station. Taxi transfer from the city center to Pisa International Airport costs between € 6.50 and € 10.00.

Car Rental

Pisa city center hosts offices of numerous car rental companies. From here you can easily rent a vehicle according to your budget. Your hotel can help you with this. Please note that you must have an international driver's license to be able to rent a car. If your driver's license is not valis, it is also possible to rent your car with driver.

Hotel Shuttle

Some hotels like Pisa Airport Accomodation, Antica Dimora Pisa, B & B Piccolo and Pisa Apartment offer free airport shuttle service. Some of the hotels in the city center can offer this service at a fee. You can request a vehicle according to the departure time of your plane by reserving in advance with your hotel. Although hotel shuttles are an extremely convenient alternative to transportation, they can cost a bit more.

Airport Information

Pisa International Airport has all the basic services like pharmacy, exchange office, and ATMs. There are also small and large eating and drinking areas that appeal to different tastes. You can buy souvenirs, accessories, clothes or books from the shops at the airport. There is a lounge for comfort-conscious passengers. It is also possible to shop at duty free stores.

Artistic events such as exhibitions are held in some periods in the airport. One of the most enjoyable features for the passengers is that the airport is just 1 kilometer from the city center of Pisa and it offers a lot of alternative transportation.

Adana, which is the largest city in Mediterranean and Eastern Anatolia regions, is the Turkey’s fifth largest city that is connected to the world through Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district. It is very easy to get to the airport which is 5km away from Yüreğir district, Kayalıbağ and Reşatbey neighborhoods which are accepted as the city center.

Although they are not headed to Adana, there are shuttle services and HAVAŞ buses at the airport. However, these buses only go to Mersin and Hatay.

Municipal Buses

You can reach the city center by riding on the municipality bus number 135 departing from Şakirpaşa Airport, which is located in Seyhan district, the most crowded district of Adana. You can reach the city center, Çukurova University and Turhan Cemal Beriker Boulevard connecting to Girne Boulevard by bus which you can take from the bus stops at the airport.

It is also possible to take the bus number 135 to reach the metro stations running on Akıncılar-Hospital route. The buses run hourly between 6 am and 7 pm every day and departs from the airport and Çukurova University simultaneously.

Minibus – Dolmush

At the airport, you can benefit from the minibus and dolmush transportation, which departs at shorter intervals compared to bus; it is a more preferred option because of the short distance from the airport to the city center. There are two minibus lines as Airport-City Center and Meydan (Square) carrying passengers to the city center. It would not be wrong to say that minibuses and dolmush pass through in a few minutes in both directions.

Taxi

You can also take a taxi at Şakirpaşa Airport to reach the city center along the Seyhan River.  Taxi is not an expensive option, because the airport is close to the city center.

Car

Adana Şakirpaşa Airport also offers various possibilities for those who wish to travel by their own cars in the city. There are 9 car rental offices at the airport including 5 at the Domestic Terminal and 4 at the International Terminal.

The airport also has an outdoor parking area with 569 cars capacity. If you drive through Turhan Cemil Beriker Boulevard following the Barış Boulevard at the exit of the airport, this route leads you to Sabancı Mosque, Girne Boulevard, Yüreğir Coach Station and Adana Archeology Museum in the city center.
