Because the average ticket prices for these minibuses that are not connected to any business vary between 0.15-0.20 dinars. Sometimes even bargaining with drivers can be done. Minibuses with less capacity than buses can be crowded during heavy traffic hours.

Taxi

The fact that oil is cheap in the country does not, unfortunately, provide a discount on taxi fares. On the contrary, the fares are extremely expensive compared to many other cities and countries. The roads throughout Bahrain are asphalt and well maintained. At the same time, oil is so cheap that it offers a great advantage in terms of car rental companies. Because tourists who visit the country prefer not to waste their time on underdeveloped public transport, and prefer to widen their choices, they rent a car. Because of this, there are many offices of international and local car rental companies both in the city and at the airport.

Buses that provide transportation from the airport to the city center are very affordable and get to the city center in about 30 minutes.
