Once you have rented your car from Maputo Airport, you will need to take a 10 minute ride to the city center with the help of the signs who will direct you across the road. To receive your rental car, you need an international driver's license and any other travel documents required in the country. Taxis are one of the most preferred vehicles for journeys to the center from Maputo International Airport. Travel time to Maputo city center by taxi, which is available according to the time of arrival of the aircraft in front of the terminal, generally does not exceed 10-15 minutes. Taxi fares in the country are generally not very high.
