In the city you can also get a private car from the airport to Mogadishu city center. Private vehicles are usually used by the residents of the city and they take the guests from the terminal to the city center. If you are going to use the car, you can be in the center of the city in about 20 minutes after you leave Mogadishu Airport and follow the city center signposts. The airport also has pausing, waiting and parking areas reserved for those arriving by private vehicle. You have a chance to leave your car in these parking lots for a few hours or a few days. However, remember that parking fees are not very low, especially if you pay after 3 days.
