Airport Information

The city center can be reached quite quickly from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Buses and taxis are the most common means of transport but shuttle services can also be preferred due to their comfort. You can also rent a car and just use this as your main method of getting from place to place for your entire trip. You can get to the city center in just 15 minutes from the airport by taxi. The lowest fare you can expect is $ 13.10. They can accept a maximum of 4 people and all of them accept card payments.

Bus

You can reach the city directly by taking one of the Capital Metro ‘Airport Downtown’ buses leaving from the terminal exit. You can spot these pretty easily as they are blue with big yellow writing on both sides. The bus reaches the city center in less than 30 minutes and departs every half an hour. The price for a one-way ticket is only $ 1.75. You should pay with exact change. Another alternative for using the bus is to get a passcard. There are convenient spaces in the bus for your luggage.
